Rehab training and back pain
Trainer-led exercise for returning after injury and for people dealing with back pain – as a follow-up to physiotherapy, not a replacement. At Brno-Nové Sady.
Return from injury · Brno-Nové Sady
An injury or back pain can sideline you for a long time – from training, from sport and from everyday life. Physiotherapy often handles the first phase, but then comes the question: what next? How do you get back to lifting, running or competing so the problems don't keep coming back? That's exactly where rehab training with a trainer at Winning Fitness Brno-Nové Sady comes in.
Let's be clear from the start: we are trainers, not doctors or physiotherapists. We don't diagnose, treat or promise that the pain will go away. Our job is to build training that respects your doctor's or physiotherapist's advice and gradually helps you get back to the movement you enjoy. If nobody has examined your problem yet, start with a doctor.
Who it's for
- People who have finished physiotherapy and want to keep training under a trainer's guidance
- Athletes returning to training after injury who need a gradual plan
- People with back pain whose doctor or physiotherapist has recommended exercise
- Anyone who sits all day and wants to compensate for one-sided load
- Clients after surgery or injury who have their doctor's green light to train
Acute or worsening pain, pain radiating into your limbs, tingling, numbness or pain after a fresh injury doesn't belong in the gym but at the doctor's. Training comes only after an examination and with their approval.
How it works
Rehab training isn't a single back exercise. Your trainer starts from what your doctor or physiotherapist has recommended, looks at how you move and builds a plan that gradually raises the demands – from mobility and movement control through stability to full strength training. For every exercise you get an explanation of why you're doing it.
Pace is key. We add load in small steps and watch how your body responds. If the pain gets worse or new problems appear, we adjust the training and recommend that you go back to your physiotherapist or doctor. It works best as a team: the physiotherapist takes care of the health side, the trainer takes care of the training.
Recovery fits in too. At Nové Sady you can use massage, red light or lymphatic compression from our Recovery service.
Your first session step by step
- If you're in pain or recovering from an injury, get examined by a doctor or physiotherapist first and ask whether you can train.
- Send us a message via the contact form or call the Nové Sady branch and book your first session with a trainer.
- We start by going through your injury history, pain, sport and goals. Bring any reports and recommendations from your doctor or physiotherapist.
- The trainer looks at how you move and you try your first exercises within a range that's fine for you.
- You agree on a plan and a pace: how often to train, what to do on your own between sessions and how you'll know it's time to progress.
Where to train
