For the past 12 years, I’ve been competing in the Men’s Physique category, which has given me extensive experience not only in building muscle mass and reducing body fat, but also in discipline, mindset, and long-term self-improvement. My goal as a trainer is not just to create a workout plan, but to teach clients to understand their bodies, exercise correctly, and achieve results that are sustainable in the long term. I pride myself on an individualized approach, open communication, and realistic results backed by practical experience. When I went to see Standa a few years ago, I was in a state where the doctors had essentially given up on me. After spinal surgery, I was told in no uncertain terms that I would likely face another major operation in the future. According to some, any movement was a risk—and there was even the possibility that I might end up in a wheelchair one day. But I knew that if I didn’t want to just passively watch my life go by, I had to make a change. I needed to start exercising. But most people didn’t have the courage to even begin working with me. Honestly, I expected another rejection from Standa as well. Instead, the exact opposite happened. First, he asked me for my hospital reports and wanted to know my medical history in detail. He studied everything carefully, and within a few days we started working together. And that’s when the journey began that changed my life.

In my entire life, I’ve never experienced such care, interest, and a genuine effort to help someone. Standa never left anything to chance. He was constantly correcting me: “You’re sitting wrong. Move your arm. Sit up straight. Move forward a centimeter.” I admit, sometimes it was challenging. But today I know that it was precisely in those details that his immense professionalism and experience lay. I was scared. Really scared. I was afraid I’d hurt myself, because I had the doctors’ words in my head that a wrong move could mean another surgery or something much worse. But under Standa’s guidance, I gradually began to feel my body working again. I lost about 15 kilos, toned my entire body, and especially my back.

But it doesn’t end there. Standa isn’t just a great trainer who understands the human body in detail. He’s also a guide, a mentor, and someone who can steer you in the right direction mentally as well. First, you start to feel better physically. Then comes greater self-confidence. And sometimes even ego. But it’s precisely in those moments that he can bring you back down to earth and show you that strength isn’t in ego, but in humility, respect, and the ability to accept life as it is. When I look back three years from today, I see a person who came to him as a bundle of misery and helplessness, begging for help. Today, I am a completely different person. Not just physically, but mentally as well.
