Jiří Procházka – Winning Fitness Brno ambassador

Jiří Procházka has become a Winning Fitness ambassador. The partnership is connected with our Brno-Vídeňská branch, which we're building for everyone who wants to take their training to the next level – with strength equipment, a combat zone and a dedicated HYROX training zone.

Jiří Procházka comes from the Znojmo region – he was born in Znojmo and grew up in Hostěradice. As an MMA fighter he won the title in Japan's RIZIN, where he earned the nickname "Czech Samurai", and in 2022 at UFC 275 he became the first Czech UFC light heavyweight champion. He is known not only for relentless hard work but also for his focus on discipline, philosophy and a holistic approach to training.

Why we partner with an athlete

Winning Fitness was founded by people from sport. Jozef Balej is a former NHL player and Michaela Balej a former professional volleyball player. Both know that results don't come by chance but from discipline and systematic work, day after day. These are the values we want to pass on in our club – which is why it makes sense to partner with an athlete who shares them.

Sport and fitness have a lot in common. Whether you're preparing for a match, a HYROX race or simply want to get stronger, the same rules apply: a clear plan, honest technique, consistency and patience. For us, partnering with an ambassador isn't just about a name – we want it to show what the road to performance looks like and to inspire everyone who trains with us, whatever their level.

The Brno-Vídeňská branch and HYROX

The branch at Vídeňská 89A is being built as a place for strength, performance and HYROX. Expect equipment from Technogym, Panatta, Eleiko and Centr, a dedicated HYROX zone with official Centr race equipment, and a sauna. The branch is easy to reach: the Hluboká stop (trams 2 and 5) is right next to it, and the Celní and Vsetínská stops are about a 4-minute walk away. By car, you can park at the Vídeňská shopping centre. Winning Fitness monthly memberships are valid at all branches.
